Henry David Learning: Woodfield School was inspected by Ofsted on 30 January and 1 February 2024 by 2 inspectors. This was Woodfield’s second inspection since it opened in 2021.

Main findings

Woodfield was inspected across 5 areas as well as the Independent School Standards which were all met.

Safeguarding was judged to be effective

Behaviour and attitudes were judged as Good

All other areas were seen to Require Improvement

What is it like to attend Woodfield School?

‘School is my safe place. Everything about it is good.’

‘This is a school that is rooted in positive relationships.’

‘Pupils are helped to behave well. They are taught to understand their emotions and feelings.’

‘Pupils benefit from learning outside the classroom. Younger pupils say that ‘walking Wednesdays’ helps them to concentrate.’

‘Pupils learn about different cultures and beliefs from around the world.’

‘Pupils study a broad range of books and authors. They develop an appreciation of reading.’

‘Teachers consider pupils’ special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) carefully. They adapt lessons well.’
